V. Finale

Thank You

Thank you to everyone for coming, thank you for listening, and thank you for supporting me as an artist. It's scary to perform in front of people you love, but if you're reading this, I've probably made it through the program. Thank you to my collaborators who are dear and talented, thank you to my voice teacher, Karen Wilkerson, for giving me gifts upon gifts over the last four years. Thank you to my friends and closest loved ones for always liking and loving me. Thank you to my family for flying out to see me on this special weekend. Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Forever Young

John Corigliano, from Mr. Tambourine Man, text. Bob Dylan

TWELVE.png

Whenever I sing this song, it feels like a blessing. So take it as one, If you wish.

May God bless and keep you always,

May your wishes all come true.

May you always do for others and let others do for you.

May you build a ladder to the stars,

And climb on every rung.

May you stay forever young.

May you grow up to be righteous,

May you grow up to be true.

May you always know the truth and see the lights surrounding you.

May you always be courageous,

Stand upright and be strong.

May you stay forever young.

May your hands always be busy,

May your feet always be swift.

May you have a strong foundation when the winds of changes shift.

May your heart always be joyful,

May your song always be sung.

May you stay forever young.
